Yesterday I would like to eat meat but I was weary of chicken or turkey... so I tried with this new recipe with veal steaks. Moreover it's important, for a well-balanced diet, to eat red meat sometimes (and also I like it).
This dish is simple and fast to be prepared!
First of all, you must brown a shallot in extra-virgin olive oil until its colour becomes yellow. Then, add the veal minute steaks and cook them on high fire by each side. The duration of this phase depends on how your steaks are high.
Add some tomato sauce, green olives (actually, I had green olives, but the black ones would be better...) and capers.
Keep cooking until the sauce becomes thicker and add salt and chilly pepper (if you like).
It's a very simple recipe and you may enjoy it with potatoes cooked with butter.
