If you love the hystory and tradition of Tudors, Carolly Erickson is the perfect author for you: I read also the biography of Queen Elizabeth I and I can say that the two books on Elizabeth Tudor and her mother Anne Boleyn are well written and involving!
The facts are presented in a clear way and the political and hystorical events (which may be sometimes boring...) are perfectly balanced by the report of social behaviours and private lives!
It's interesting to understand how people lived in England during the 16th Century. But, above all, you'll learn that in that period wedding and sex were just the simpliest ways for whole families to obtain power and wealth!
I'm particularly fashinated by this part of english hystory, but in any case the book is useful to remind important social phases, like the one concerning English Reformation.
I strongly suggest this book!
Enjoy!!!
